The 2012 Summer Orchestra Camp will take place from July 9-August 3 in the WWMS Orchestra room. 

Spring Orchestra Concert

Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the MHS Auditorium

Grade 5 will meet in the MHS Choir room at 6:15 p.m.  

Grade 4 will meet in the MHS Choir room at 6:30 p.m.

There will be a morning rehearsal the day of the concert, May15 at 7:45 a.m.  in the MHS Auditorium. 

Parents will bring their children to the rehearsal.  Bus transportation will be provided to the students' respective schools following

the rehearsal. 

Elementary After School Orchestra

Information has been distributed about the optional After School Orchestra (ASO) which will take place every Monday from 4-5 p.m. in the MHS Orchestra room.

Students who have registered for ASO, may ride a bus from their respective elementary schools to the 4-5 p.m. Monday rehearsal.  Please contact Mrs. Cooke at jecooke@munster.k12.in.us for your child's bus assignment.  ASO violin, viola and cello students must bring their home instrument and Essential Elements book to the rehearsal.  Instruments will be provided for bass players and most cellists, but they must bring their Essential Elements book to the rehearsal.

Students must be picked up by parents following the rehearsal at the Munster High School Auditorium Entrance "N" at 5:00 p.m.  Rehearsals will continue every Monday until the May concert.  Please call Mrs. Cooke at 836-3200 #3343 if your child is absent from school on an ASO rehearsal day.

Frank Hammond Elementary Orchestra classes meet on Tuesdays and Fridays

Classes meet in the FHH music room.

FHH grade five:  7:50-8:20 a.m.

FHH grade four:  8:20-8:50 a.m.

Elliott Elementary Orchestra classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Parents will need to use the bus road on the south side of the building to drop off their children at entrance "G" which is the cafeteria entrance off the playground.  All other doors will be locked.

Students meet in the music room. Classes are on the stage.

Tuesday classes:

Elliott grade five:  7:50-8:20 a.m.

Elliott grade four:  8:20-8:50 a.m.

Thursday classes:

Elliott grade five:  8:20-8:50 a.m.

Elliott grade four:  8:50-9:20 a.m.

Eads Elementary Orchestra classes meet on Mondays and Wednesdays
