Broad Based Planning Committee

As required by Rule 511 of the Indiana State Board of Education, a broad based planning committee (BBPC) is maintained. The committee is a diverse group comprised of educators, parents, students, and community members. The BBPC meets on the second Thursday of each month during the school year for the purpose of planning, development, and evaluation of the program.

Additionally, the director meets with a parent advisory group on the second Thursday of every month beginning in October through May at 1:30 pm at the Administration Center. Within the parent advisory group, ad hoc, or sub-committees are formed as required to address changing needs and concerns.

During each school year, the BBPC conducts an evaluation. The evaluation asks questions related to how the School Town of Munster is currently responding to the previous years' recommendations and meeting the needs of the children in the program.
